Continent bakery is a standout gem all on its own. It is unassuming and the prices are very reasonable. You wouldn't know it was there unless you knew about it. I learned about it from a coworker and I think that's how most people know is due to word-of-mouth. There is always a line for their delicious pastries, desserts, and savory goodies as well, including: sandwiches, breads, cannoli, pies and cakes.
The BEST BAKERY around. Everything is delicious. The also have prepared Portuguese foods to buy. Their breads are great too. Text first to see if they're open before you go I think they are only open towards the latter part of the week.

Yay to Yelp for leading us to this wonderful bakery! We were on a trip to Fall River to stock up on our Portuguese food and other goodies and we had some extra time so I hit Yelp to see if we could find a new place to try. When I searched bakeries Continent Bakery came up with 5 stars and over 35 reviews so I knew it was worth checking out!!! We put it in our gps and were there shortly. We honestly wouldn't have never passed by this place otherwise. There was a small line on this early Saturday afternoon as they are spacing out customers due to Covid-19. We waited our turn and were inside shortly. I immediately felt overwhelmed by the selections! Great variety of desserts and breads!!!! We selected a variety of desserts and ordered some of the chourico breads because we saw they had been highly recommended on Yelp. I'm so thankful I took a picture of the breads behind the counter because I had no idea there were so many flavors to pick from (definitely going back for more flavors to try!!). Everything we bought was delicious, but the thing that will definitely be bringing us back is the chourico rolls!! The rolls were FILLED with chourico and the bread they were in was amazing! We enjoyed every bite!
Sooooo...this is such a gem I cannot believe the amazingness that was in this bakery. I will be back so many times. My husband and I came bright & early to pick up some desserts. The cases were fully stocked and I was in shock at how yummy everything looked. It took a while to decide what to get but the gentleman behind the counter was so patient and answered all of our questions (we take dessert seriously). My favorite treat has to be the raspberry Bismarck...but the chocolate frosted brownies are incredible...and so are the cream-filled donuts (so soft and fluffy)...oh, and another favorite has to be the eclairs. Alright, alright. EVERYTHING is good. I cannot wait to try it all. The cream is so fresh in all of their desserts. So glad I found this place, cannot believe it took so long. Being only 20 minutes from Providence, I'd hate for everyone to start piling in because then there would be less for me...So maybe city-dwellers like myself won't come in and eat all the goods.
